Building Components
An overview of construction components, with the emphasis on those elements of construction most frequently at issue in construction defect cases.

Top 10 Defects
An overview of the ten most common categories for construction defect claims. The course is presented from the perspective of an architect with the purpose of empowering legal counsel to better understand the nature of common claims.

Construction Documents
An overview of the documentation most commonly used in construction projects. Construction documents are integral to the contractual relationship of the various parties named in a construction defect claim. The course explains how to navigate construction documents and gives insight into how they define the scope of work, selection of materials, and standards for the various parties, as seen from the perspective of an architect.
