As a Principal Architect Mr. Dominelli is responsible for all phases of forensic architectural services:

  • Inspecting and documenting existing building and site conditions
  • Directing and documenting destructive testing investigations;
  • Coordinating with clients as well as other investigative consultants
  • Researching building codes, materials, installation procedures and other technical issues
  • Reviewing construction documents, contracts, and other construction phase records;
  • Analyzing and determining the extent of construction defects;
  • Developing scope of repairs and repair recommendations;
  • Preparing and issuing reports of findings
  • Participating in expert meetings and mediations.

Victor Dominelli possesses extensive architectural experience in the design of residential and commercial projects. He has specialized technical and design expertise in the areas of high-end custom residences and regional shopping center design. Over the course of his career, he has been responsible for design, materials research and specification, construction document preparation and construction contract administration for new construction, adaptive reuse, and renovation projects. Mr. Dominelli's special area of expertise is Type V wood frame construction. He possesses considerable experience working with building officials and obtaining discretionary approvals for residential and commercial projects along the coastal zone of San Diego, California.

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the renowned Illinois Institute of Technology, as one of three principals of the progressive design firm Architura, Mr. Dominelli designed a number of A.I.A. award-winning projects while handling the daily business operations during his nine-year affiliation with the firm.
